THE BRIEF

Support Manchester United’s ePremier League involvement by creating a content and communication strategy to drive registrations with the target of Manchester United being the the most popular club for participant sign ups.

Full production and consultation of their Club qualifier tournament ensuring that player experience, talent and content were “best in class”. 

THE DSM APPROACH

Work with FIFA influencer and United fan ChuBoi to create social content to inform fans drive registrations. Content published on the official club social media accounts and  shared through influencers own channels to ensure we were targeting the right demographic to drive registrations.

Create content with first-team player Scott McTominay to bridge the gap between FIFA esports and traditional football to appeal to a wider audience.

Advise on the how to ensure the players had the best experience possible, by integrating a pitchsidetour and running a “best goal competition” to win a signed shirt.

Produce an authentic and engaging tournament YouTube broadcast using experience esports talent, FIFA commentators Brandon and Richard and analyst ChuBoi. Use “money can’t buy” FIFA prize incentives to encourage views. Clip the content into highlights packages to post on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to amplify reach.

Generate media coverage on ITV, Sky Sports News, Goal.com and Esports World Football Magazine.

Advise the club on player care and management and content creation around the live finals.
