DSM Doubles Down On FIFA Esports Talent

Digital Sports Mgmt is delighted to announce it has signed 3 more FIFA Esports talent to join its’ illustrious roster of FIFA talent. Jake Barford, Owen Venn and Josh Jones all join consolidating DSM as the leading FIFA Agency in the world representing stars including YouTubers, Streamers, Esports Commentators, Esports Teams and Esports Presenters.

Jake Barford, better known as BFordLancer, is a FIFA YouTuber with 250,000 subscribers and Esports commentator from Cincinnati, Ohio who is also a member of the EA Game Changer program. Jake has worked with his hometown football club FC Cincinnati as their eMLS Correspondent as well as with the eMLS creating stories for their events. Jake has also worked with brands such as PlayStation, Coca-Cola, and One Football. His YouTube channel has over 75,000,000 total views.

Signing with DSM, Jake said: “I am extremely excited to get started with DSM and begin working with the team! I’m very passionate about Esports and can’t wait to join the growing list of Esports talent already signed with DSM. Also as a FIFA content creator I’ve seen the great work they’ve done for creators like myself in the past, it made my decision to join very easy. Looking forward to a long partnership!”

Owen Venn, better known as Venny, is a FIFA Esports Pro Player. Venny, 22 and his style of play is possession based style where he plays for percentages rather than 50/50s. Venny won the Southampton ePL club play off and represented them at the finals, where he made it to the semi-final before being eliminated to the eventual PS4 champion.

Signing on with DSM Venny said: "I play FIFA as a passion over anything else from playing it as a young age to now at more of a professional level I still only have one objective and that's to win with a smile. It's great feeling to finally put pen to paper and join DSM as a esport player, after many talks with the agency they have seen my vision and how I want to approach the next few years as a player but also a brand outside of competing. I feel this will partnership will help me excel to the next level and I am looking forward to work with these guys more for the upcoming seasons.”

Josh Jones, better known as Jonesy, 17, is a passionate Manchester United fan who's into video games. He made his mark on the FIFA scene by winning the Manchester United ePL club play off event, beating some well established names along the way. At the finals, he came top of his group that included two Hashtag United players, booking his place in the knockout stages. In the quarter-final, he found himself up against AFC Bournemouth's "Marc Marley" who he beat 6-4. Unfortunately his run in the event came to an end in the semi-finals where he lost to the number 1 player in the world, and eventual overall champion, F2Tekkz.

Josh said: “I’m delighted to join DSM, hopefully I can push on and prove my worth as we start to look forward to the FIFA 20 season. I am extremely motivated this season and I can’t wait to get started.”
